The CBSE Maths Curriculum for Classes 11 and 12 has been changed for the 2020-21 academic year to incorporate Applied Mathematics for Commerce and Arts students. The Central Board of Secondary Education, or CBSE, has announced the addition of a new subject for the 2020-21 academic year. Students entering Class 11th and current CBSE Class 12 students can now take the CBSE Applied Mathematics subject (Code 241). The subject would be offered as either a main course or an academic option. In contrast, the present CBSE Maths curriculum stays untouched. CBSE has added Applied Mathematics to the Senior Secondary Curriculum.
